Jail Certification

We have been made aware of a recent scam, where family or friends of inmates will receive a call from someone posing as a bondsman in an attempt to obtain money from them.

During the call, the scammer will convince the family or  friend to send a cash or electronic payment immediately so they can get the inmate out of jail. If you have not been communicating with the inmate directly or did not call for a bondsman, we would caution against immediately sending money.

We would encourage you to ask for the name of the individual and where they work and then call the company phone directly to verify the information.
